Holiday had gotten over, and it had been two months since she had seen him..

He had traveled out of the country and returned late.

Suddenly one day her phone plays that special ringtone which she had specially selected for him.. a sudden excitement sprouts and she picks the call.. it was 'Him'.. She just couldn't help and let out a squeal

she still loved him, to every bit :) she couldn't wait till she laid eyes on him

only a few hours, she told her self and smiled herself to sleep

He was back, he couldn't wait to met her.. to months he hadn't heard her voice or seen that smile..

he dialed her number hoping she would pick up, she was known to forget her phone in the most absurd places.. he whispered 'Oh please pick up the bloody phone..' and she did .. Her animated Hello was something he was aching to hear and there she was..

He still loved her, every bit.. he told her they would meet at class and bid farewell..

he couldn't wait to see her.. with a smile he put his headphones on and started staring into infinity.. hoping that some day, he shall call her his.. someday he shall kiss her goodnight..

She watched him walk away with a face filled with pain. She knew he has heard it all.
She wanted to explain. But what would she say? She couldn't tell him how she felt and therefor why she did it.. She was confused. He was avoiding her.. She felt it.. There was a sadness in his eyes which explained it all. she din't want to hurt him.. she couldn't stand seeing him this way. she wanted to see him smile..
She wanted to be the reason he smiled..
But to get do that? She would have to risk her friendship.
worth it?
She thinks not.

As he walked away with a heart completely shattered heart.. He thought about what had happned.. He avoided eye contact as much as possible.. he did steal a few glaces at her now and then.. he saw her smile.. not the one he fell in love with.. it was differnt.. very distant. probably lost in thoughts of her HotBoy.. why wouldn't she.. She was probably wondering what to wear and looks stunning.. a smile came upon him and he thought to him self.. she IS stunning.. even when she complains ..
He wondered what it would be like to be on a date with her.. she's so lively and energetic she keeps everyone around her in a good mood ..
he thought about it and drifted into thoughts of maybe being her date..

She knows she loves him. but she listens to her head not heart. she knows what highschool relationships could jeopardize friendship. specially him. she's known him forever! and she wouldn't dare even trying. she lost one friend forever. not this one.
She also knows this other boy. He likes her too. but all he wants is a fling. she finds him superbly hot and wouldn't mind being with him. atleast a fling won't hurt.
he asks her whether she wanted to hang out, like a date and she was excited and said yes. her heart remaind with her bff but she thought why not. maybe if she diverted her self it would be easier to get over.
she tells this gf that the hot boy asked her out. she being all excited was jumping around (Most of it was to make it obvious). she doesn't notice but HE was right behind.

he knows he is in love. he would do anything to have her. he doesn't understand why she's moving away. her smile. he sighs.
he goes up to her to say hi when he notices her. she's all cheerful and excited. sigh. her smile
he went closer. but what he heard smashed his world. she was in love with that hot boy he thought . ofcorse. he was so good looking. so amazing he thought. she was worth the hot boy. not himself. she deserves much better. he only smiles at her and walks away .

He Looked up at her. she looked back.. a smile sprouted on both faces. there was a connection of a differnt kind. where words made no sense but the silence explaind well. she turned away, she felt the butterflies in her stomach. it had been ages since she felt this way and it felt akward yet pleasing.
she knew she was falling in love but forced herself to restrain. T'was hard ofcorse, but she had to. she din't want history to repeat it self.
the fear of loss enstrangled her. she wonderd if she could bare a broken heart again. if she could accept loosing again.
It had happend once. she din't want it again. a part of her was forcefuly ripped away from her.

He looked at her. she looked up. he found her smile irrestible. he found her beautiful. he felt something but wasn't sure. he knew he was in love with her. but he wasn't sure what she felt. he loved holding her close and smelling her hair. he loved holding her hand. they had had a moment which was better than he ever felt but yet he wasn't sure if she cared. he thought how much he would love to have her. tell the world she's mine. tell her i love you. whisper in her ears and hold her tight.
he wondered why she came close to him, and then moved away.
